I started using this a few months ago and have been for mostly every night since. (there's still so much left!) When I first started using it, it worked very well. I just dabbed some on (about twice the size of the pimple) and went to sleep. in the morning it shrank half the size (yay).
Then I started using it in problematic areas where I get clogged pores (not really breakouts though) -under my lower lip, around my nose and t-bone area. I also use it sometimes on my forehead, but Grease Lightning doesn't seem to do anything for clogged pores that haven't broken out. I guess it might have cut down the redness or helped a bit but there wasn't much change.

So basically what I'm trying to say is this product is great for bad pimples, but has done nothing to help with little (annoying) bumps.

Side-note: Some reviews say it doesn't make your face tight, but it does for me! Maybe not to the point where it hurts but enough that I notice it. I can't go 10 minutes without moving my face after the gel dries :( then after I do, the parts that i put it on get all flaky (looks like my skin is so dry that pieces of skin are flaking off). Maybe thats why this isn't working for me? If you get this product, make you you use it the right way.

I would only recommend this to someone who gets lots of pimples. Good for using on your back too.

Please never, ever discontinue this product!! I don't know what I would do without it. Shrinks and dries out my acne so fast. After having used heavily medicated topical creams most of my life, its refreshing to have a zit zapper that is gentle on my skin but effective.I recommend Grease Lightening to anyone I see that has a problem with acne and have heard nothing but good things!

I bought this as I wanted a more natural way to treat my small break outs. I swear buy this. I apply it at night where need be and it does its magic. I'm not going to say that it heals it over night, however, I found that it does get rid of pimples faster than any other spot treatment I have used. I love it.

Never in my life have I EVER had acne. I rarely get zits and when I do its 1 or 2. All of a sudden I was covered in them! :( desperate to find something to make the nightmare stop I ran to lush. The woman at the store recommended Grease Lightning. I have been using this for about a week, I can honestly say that the red bumps are much less red and smaller but not completely gone. Not knowing what caused the bumps to begin with I have a hard time saying whether it is working to the capacity I had hoped. It has dried my skin out a bit but EVERYTHING does. Overall this seems like a really great product.

I bought this product a few weeks ago at lush and so far I like it quite a bit. Best to apply it at night only, as it leaves a flaky kind of white residue on your face. Leaves your face feeling tight and smells great!

As for effectiveness, it cleared up my forehead really fast and effectively. I have been using it on my cheeks too as I have been getting little red spots and so far no change for those but I will keep trying it out on them to see if they change at all.

So I use this on my face and it is of course amazing on acne and I adore it for that. But I knew this boy who had external hemorrhoids and searched up some home remedies and said a bunch of possible herbs like "Lavender, tea tree, witch hazel" so I was like "Have some Grease Lightning" and in two days it shrunk up and got rid of his external hemorrhoids. Didn't burn his skin down there and was easily absorbed so it didn't get on his underwear. Not what the product was intended for... but fun fact :D

This is great product, it's gentle and doesn't sting and it makes your face feel tight (I know some people hate that feeling). I found this doesn't work overnight for me, it takes time. I almost gave up on it because I was told to use it on trouble spots and after a few days I wasn't seeing any difference. I pulled it out of my drawer recently and decided it to use it as more of a preventative measure. It's working great so far! I go through weird periods of acne (I'm in my late 20's) and I find that the hardest part of me is preventing them and dealing with the scars afterwards. This has become part of my daily routine, I use it after tea tree water and before vanishing cream in the mornings all over my problem areas, not just spots. I find it works better for me this way because I don't really see a difference when I apply it directly to pimples. I will continue to buy if I keep seeing results!

This is my absolute favorite product (so far) that I have purchased from Lush, or any other place so far. I use this every single day, at least once, and it has completely turned around my skin!
I have no more acne, my skin looks firmer and brighter, my pores are visibly smaller throughout the day, and my skin is no longer oily.
I have purchased this product twice now and I plan to continue purchasing it until the day I die.

I use this product every night. I have adult acne and often get cystic acne and I find using grease lightning will fix those trouble spots up quickly. It reduces healing time and starts working right away. I only wish they sold bigger quantities of it. I go through a bottle very quickly. I love to use this with the Roma water and also use the cosmetic warrior face mask a few nights a week!

After cleansing my face in the evening, I like to apply Grease Lightning. I usually skip moisturizer in the evenings as my face doesn't feel tight. I was using Benzoyl Peroxide before (with moisturizer too) and it just irritated my skin, and gave me dry spots on my face. I've since replaced BP with Grease Lightning and with better results. I like to apply it to acne prone areas, on top of existing acne, and honestly, sometimes all over (because I do break out all over). It does dry/tighten up my skin a little, but it's not irritating. I have had acne shrink in size overnight because of the awesomeness of Grease Lightning. I've also had old sebum trapped under my skin, and Grease Lightning dries it out so I can easily scrub it off. It's amazing.

Yesterday I walked into my local Lush store in the hopes of purchasing a new moisturizer. I had been using Herbalism for over a month and it was working wonders, but the moisturizer I had was not letting my skin reach it's full potential. When I told the saleswoman what I was looking for, she was very informative and recommended Vanishing Cream. She also showed me Mask of Magnaminty which I purchased. Then, she gave me large samples of both Ultrabland and Grease Lighting. I washed my face last light with Ultrabland and applied Grease Lighting to my stubborn breakouts, and woke up amazed. All of them had dried and shrunk overnight. I will definitely recommend this to anyone with pesky breakouts!

i am literally in love with this. i use this in the morning, night time and before i apply my makeup. This not only helps dry out acne, but prevents it. Grease L also helps matte out the face so its left feeling soft and smooth. This is why it is so great for combo- oily skin types because it will eliminate all the oil that you would get during the day.This product will leave the skin feeling tight, but doesnt actually dry out or flake. Since using this with ocean salt, my skin is finally clear! i could'nt be happier yeaaahhh:D

This product is absolutely a must if you have frequent break outs, but do not expect it to destroy the pimple over night, as this product takes time to take care of the break out. It also helps with swelling/redness of the pimple upon contact (at least in my case) which helps with those painful breakouts that really ruin your day :<!

Overall, best product I've got for breakout control (over the counter chemicals just didn't cut it for me) so try it and I'm sure you'll agree ;)!

I have been using this product on my acne-prone skin for 2 years now and it really is a miracle. I have adult acne breakouts if I don't use it for a full week, but as long as I use it at least every 2 days it really keeps my skin feeling clean and no zits!! Just dab a little product on the problem area with a clean finger and it's gone!

I apply a thin layer to my whole face after cleansing,it doesn't irritate my skin at all, and I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. Anyone who says it's drying, there's aloe vera in it, that's why it leaves that strange tight feeling on your skin. Also, it does not flake at all if you don't apply too much. I like this stuff a lot, I will definitely re-purchase this once my bottle is empty.
