The biggest problem with this bomb is the huge mess of prickly sticks it distributes into the bath. It is very mild smelling, nothing special.

The smell and look of this bomb are great ... it doesnt colour the water but leaves a very fine shimmer to the water. LOVE the scent! Bur unfortunately I found it didn't last very long.

What really bothered me were the "lavender sprigs". I did not know there were supposed to be in there and I thought I somehow had brought sticks into the tub with me ... they look terrible and do not smell at all so I don't know what the point of putting them in the tub. The wonderful relaxing tub experience was really destroyed as I spent 10 minutes trying to collect all the sticks out of the tub so I could drain the water .... would be a MUCH better product with the terrible sticks!

I loved this bomb! it was my first ever Lush bath bomb (I have used MANY since) and it remains my favorite.

It does not smell excessively strong, but it has a very pleasant,soothing aroma. It worked wonders for me : I suffer from insomnia and this bomb helped me relax and fall asleep quicker.

I was surprised when I saw twig-like things floating in my tub since I couldn't spot them just by looking at the bomb, but I didn't mind them at all :)

First off, I have to say that I am a long time Lush consumer and this is the first product that I have disliked. With a name like "Golden" Slumbers, there is nothing golden about it. With the gold dusting on the top of the bomb, I was expecting it to have a shimmer like Twilight does; sadly, it does not. It leaves the water clear as day. And although this bomb smells lovely, it dissipates rather quickly. I usually enjoy having little surprises in my bath water from a melting bath bomb (rice paper flowers and what not) however, the lavender sprigs look more like bugs than they do anything else. And finally, I dont think there is quite enough lavender oil in this bomb as it left my skin feeling rather dry and slightly irritated. Needless to say after a long day with my 7 month old, I was most looking forward to a nice relaxing bath with Golden Slumbers, unfortunately this bomb leaves much to be desired.
If your not into powerful or lasting scents, this bomb is for you. If you dont like "floaties" in your water, I would recommend putting this bomb in a cheese cloth before dissolving. I would also suggest a bath melt to go along with this bomb as it doesnt leave your skin feeling very soft

also where is the gold in golden slumbers ??? cuz there was NONE.

im angry at Lush for waisting my money, AT LEAST put it for 3-4 bucks like you have some really nice bath bombs that are priced at 4$. this one is NOT worth 25 cents.

love this ballistic, when i need something to relax and help me go to sleep, i always turn to this. my only negativity would be that it leaves SO many lavender pods in the tub - so put it in a nylon before you use it!

This was one of the first Lush products I had ever bought, and possibly the first bath bomb I tried. I was a little surprised to see the lavender emerge as the bomb fizzed in the tub, but I love the idea of soaking in flowers/seaweed, so I wasn't put off by this. The scent was pretty, and my skin was left feeling soft. I was a bit disappointed that the golden sheen you can see on the bomb when it's dry didn't make my skin shimmery, but maybe it was for the best.



This could be improved by using lavender sprigs rather than just the buds, to make for easier to clean-up (it was tricky chasing all the little buds around the tub after it had drained.) I'd buy this again, but I'll definitely put it into a sachet to capture the lavender!



This is ideal for anyone who doesn't like really overpowering scents, products that turn the bathwater different colours, or who has trouble sleeping. I slept like a baby after using Golden Slumbers!

My first ever LUSH product--it was great! Totally hooked me. The flower bits are such a great detail! (It never left a residue on my tub, and the bits never stuck to me). All of the tension in my muscles was completely gone with the Golden Slumbers, and I found myself relaxing into this magical garden bath elixir more fully than any bath I can remember taking. And when I got out I felt totally happy, relaxed and refreshed. Great way to start off a night of pure relaxation! The scent was not that strong, and that was fine by me. If you are a fan of floral, I seriously recommend it. It didn't really do much for my sensitive skin, but it did irritate it a tiny bit, so it was important to rinse off completely afterward. But that definitely is not a barrier for me to use it again!

Golden Slumbers bath bomb was definitely relaxing but I did not like how fast the scent faded away and the residue it left in my tub which was NOT relaxing to have to clean after.

We didn't really like this bath bomb. The smell wasn't the greatest and rather strong and there were too many little floatys in it (who wants all that stuff in your hair?) Won't be buying this again.

I have never used it alone, but I rarely use lush products alone in the bath. This one is like the soul mate to Flying Saucers. After it, you will feel like you just had a spa treatment- in the luxury of your own home so you can just crawl into bed afterwards :)



One thing I am not a big fan of- in any product- is the heaps of little bits- in this case I believe lavender buds. But all and all, the extra clean up is worth it :D

When I saw this bath bomb I was so excited. I have a hard time sleeping so I love anything Lavender and it always helps me. This bath bomb was beautiful and even when it fizzed out it was shooting out the lavender which was really cool. I was disappointed how the smell wasn't very strong and it didn't last. Needless to say, it didn't help me fall asleep. :( Add more scent to it please

I really like how Golden Slumbers makes you all ready for bed after a somewhat long day. Its just SO relaxing, it was hard to keep my eyes open afterward! On the downside, I prefer bombs that make the water a different colour or something, and the lavender bits, while cute in the water, left residue in my tub. Luckily, it washed away easily.

Bathing with Golden Slumbers was quite relaxing, watching all the little pieces of lavender float around the tub. My bomb didn't have a lot of fragrance, but I did have a good night's sleep afterwards. The bottom line is, Golden Slumbers really needs to be cocktailed with something that has a little more pizzazz.

I bought this because I love the smell of lavender. I just finished using this. It had no smell and left my skin feeling dry and itchy. It was just a bunch of dried lavender looking like maggots all over my tub. Nothing relaxing about that. I just wanted to get out of the tub. There is nothing golden in this either.

I love Lush products and I use many of them, but this I will never buy again.

Very relaxing, takes the stress away within moments. The smell could be stronger but it puts me to sleep and leaves no residue. I wish there was more of the soft gold glitter.

I cut this in half one night I really needed a good relaxing bath. At almost two months pregnant I was afraid of my latest shipment of Lush products and what they would do to my morning, noon and night sickness. I've always LOVED lavender and this was no exception. I literally almost passed out in the tub, got out, creamed up my legs, washed my face and fell into bed for probably the best night sleep I'd had in just about two months. LOVE THIS!

The product fizzed pretty quickly. The scent is really subtle - it smells stronger in solid form for sure. It was nice and delicate in the bath. I didn't mind the floating bits at all. I wish the scent was a bit stronger and lasted longer. It was very light on my skin afterwards, but it smelled so good I wished it was more heavily scented.

This bath bomb is SO relaxing and soothing. It leaves the water soft and beautifully (very lightly) scented. I always strain it so that the lavender does not get into the tub- then I pick out a few lavender buds and break them open with my fingers, inhale the fragrance, then drop them into the tub for true aromatherapy.

I always combine Golden Slumbers with something else- so combine it with your favourite relaxing bubble bar or bath melt- especially the ones that contain lavender but anything that soothes you to sleep will work just fine.

Perfect to use before bed & after a long day and is best used in combination with other lush products (like french kiss or dreamtime).

Wasn't sure I was going to like this, but after a day of hard labour it was like heaven to slip into the scented water. I was very pleasantly surprised too, at how silky it made the water feel. I'll just have to remember next time to put it in a stocking to collect the tufts of lavendar. Can't understand how some left such negative reveiws. Okay I'm ready to zzzzzzzzzzzzz!
