I usually never write reviews.But felt i must because this shampoo bar is
an amazing product,it made my hair feel healthier and I could get away
with washing it every other day which rarely ever happens with any other

If you are hesitant about trying a dry shampoo - don't be! Gentle Lentil is amazing. It lathers just as well as any liquid shampoo I've ever used, plus you use less product and have less waste.

Added bonus - it smells really nice. However I DON'T find that it smells anything like 'Butterball'. It reminds me more of baby powder, in a good way.

I've had a hard time finding a shampoo to work with my stubborn hair. I have bullet straight hair, fine strand but LOTS of it and it gets oily easily. This solid shampoo lathers up nicely and leaves my hair squeaky clean. Highly recommend it!

I love this shampoo. It smells wonderful, lathers beautifully, and makes my hair feel fabulous. The man also uses it, and loves it too. I've bought this several times, and will continue to buy it.

I gave it four stars instead of five only because it is annoying when it falls apart, and I have to squish it back together.

I used Gentle Lentil as soon as I received it in the mail. This shampoo bar proved to be great for my dry hair! When you lather it in your hair, you can just feel the nourishment and moisture of the bubbles. Another pro is that it has an amazing smell; not overpowering but enough that you can take in the amazing aroma. The only con I can think of is that you get so addicted to it that it definitely doesn't last for long! Overall a great product, definite 5 stars. I highly recommend it for people who need a bit of moisture and shine, trust me, it will not disappoint

I absolutely love this shampoo! After trying jumping juniper, to deal with greasy roots, my hair was so dry!! I tried gentil lentil with almost instant improvement! My hair feels much healthier and is much more manageable. The best part is the smell, I just can't get enough of it!

Bought this shampoo to use at the gym. Chlorine every day is drying out my uber fine, straight hair. I love it!! Lathers up fast with lots of bubbles. I thought the scent was a bit strong, but it doesn't last long, just long enough to wipe out the smell of chlorine. I now use it as my pool bar, and stopped bringing a body wash as well. This one bar does it all for me

So far I had been using Godiva and Rehab, I love both of them but when using Godiva,although it works beautifully, I am always left with bits of conditioner and don't really know what to do with them.

So after reading the reviews for Gentle Lentil I decided to order it.

My hair is really fine and tangle really easily and this shampoo works wonder for my type of hair. The smell is wonderful (creamy vanilla) and it lathers really well. When I dried my hair I noticed immediately that my hair was shinier and had more body. It was also easier to style. I am a convert and will definitely order more!

I love the suble fragrance of this solid. I received a sample of it in my very first Lush order. I used it in conjuction with Jungle conditioner. I thought I was going to have a heck of a time getting the comb through my hair. Not so...soft, smooth and just glides through. Thank you Lush. Gentle Lentil is the first solid shampoo I've ever tried, and, I'll admit, I was a little hesitant about it. Maybe you're hesitating about it now too, which is why you're reading the product reviews. Hey, it's okay, I understand. But let me help you dispel those worries and do something great for you and your hair. Here are some of the concerns I had before I tried Gentle Lentil, which you may share:



I was worried it wouldn't lather well.

Wrong: Unbelievably, it lathers better than all of my (now defunct) bottled shampoos...combined.



I was worried it wouldn't last very long.

Wrong: I've barely made a dent in the bar after two weeks of daily use. Just don't leave it in the way of dripping water - I keep mine in a dish outside the shower.



I was worried my hair would be sticky or greasy after repeated use. Wrong: My hair has never looked or felt better. In fact, I'm completely convinced that Gentle Lentil has restructured my hair. More likely, my hair is just a lot happier and therefore much more willing to do what I ask.

I was using Godiva shampoo for about 4 weeks and then I stumbled into this shampoo.My hair is wavy and stringy most of the time. But, this shampoo left my hair feeling so soft and shiny, and has a very delicious smell. I am never trying anything else.

Gentle Lentil has been pretty much the only Lush shampoo that hasn't faded my dye jobs--just about every other product contains citrus or salt for added shine. Smells fab and is great for frequent washing--cleans without buildup.

I received a small piece of this with my order that came in earlier this week. I've used it only twice, but so far I am in LOVE. The smell is to die for, sweet but not over doe. There was a big, big difference in my hair the first time I used it. I don't even need to use conditioner with this. I just use Kind of the Mods after my shower and my hair is light, shiny and soooo soft. I'm definitely ordering a full size chunk with my next order.

As far as solid shampoos go, this one takes the cake! While many people toot about Tricho, Gentle Lentil is far superior. The lather is luscious, the smell is beyond divine, and after you rinse it out you can actually run your hands through your hair. I have naturally wavy, dry, frizzy, coarse hair which tends to have a mind of its own and Gentle Lentil smoothes it, makes it shiney and softer than any other shampoo! My hair is so soft afterward-it doesn't even feel like my hair! Be warned, if you want soft, silky hair, once you buy Gentle Lentil you will be hooked!

I have loooong thick dark hair. I started using this after Christmas, I bought it because I have an addiction to beauty products, especially hair stuff. I started using it and loved it immediately. I usually wash my hair every second day, but with Gentil Lentil, I could honestly wait 3 sometimes 4 days before washing my hair. It didn't add static to my long hair which is really nice. I bought two extra shampoo bars because I really like it. PS: The more I use it the less I need to wash my hair. If I wash my hair 2-3 times a week I can have one bar last me almost 6 months. It's great! PSS: It smells almost like baby powder, but it's not overpowering, I barely smell it once I'm out of the shower!

After trying several other LUSH solid shampoos, I had a chance to place an online order and threw this in. I'm already a big fan of the solid shampoos for ease of use and less waste, but this quickly rose to the top of my list for two main reasons: 1) The scent is pleasant but not overpowering (such as Godiva, which is nice but the smell quickly wore out its welcome for me), and 2) there aren't a lot of bits to mess with, especially as the bar wears down (i.e. Squeaky Green and Seanik). It's not particularly moisturizing (which is fine, since I don't need a moisturizing shampoo), but it doesn't dry out my hair with regular use as quickly as my other favourite LUSH solid, NEW!, and so requires less use of conditioner.



I have extremely long, thick and completely untreated hair, washing roughly once every 4 days, and lightly conditioning every third wash or so with LUSH Jungle conditioner. Otherwise I use no other products in my hair. Gentle Lentil will definitely stay in my rotation - it does the job with as little fuss as possible.

I bought Gentle Lentil because Trichomania was out of stock and I so thought I'd give this a try. It's not quite as moisturizing as Trichomania but it still works very well as an all-purpose solid shampoo. I like the subtle sweet scent as well.
