A few months ago, I had to take a morning after pill. It broke me out so incredibly bad that people asked if I had chicken pox because I had cystic acne that were large, puss-filled, and red. I was desperate to try anything and the last month or two I have not experienced anymore horrendous breakouts, even before my period, which is when I usually get them. I was skeptical to use this at first because I was beginning to doubt all products. But I talked to a sales associate at Lush and she said that this helped her in clearing up as well. I ended up buying it and was persistent with my routine every day and night (with the vanishing cream) and it eventually all went away! Thank you sales associate at Lush!

I got a sample of this in the mail with my order, I have clear skin but its uneven so i thought "hey! when life gives you lemons make lemonaid" and used this a few times over the last few days, my clear pimple free skin now has 7 pimples! im so dissipointed, i havent had this many pimples since I was 13 (now 20). This product as some good reviews, so maybe its just my skin?

I live in the woods of British Columbia. I am 23 and have had troubled skin ever since I moved up here 3 years ago. The water that comes from my taps is reffered to as "hard water" which means its high in calcium and sulfer. The water changed my skin making it very sensitive and I never felt clean after washing. I used "fresh farmacy" bar and for the first time since I've lved here noticed a difference within 7 days of using it. My pimples vanished my face felt very clean and my pores shrunk. Overall I would recomend this product to anyone who has combination skin that might feel a bit oily, or anyone who has "hard water". I'm so excited I found a product that is affordable and works. My search is finally over!

I was a long-time Angels on Bare Skin devotee, and then over the winter I tried Let the Good Times Roll (because it smells amazing). LGTR was WAY too abrasive and yet I continued... I wound up with constant redness and flakes all over my chin/jaw and blackheads even while using Tea Tree Toner.
SO in a desperate attempt to fix the sitch, I ordered Fresh Farmacy. Skeptical, but hopeful.
Honestly, it might actually be better than Angels... It is so gentle and milky, and so easy to use! My face feels younger, cleaner, and all my redness/flakes have cleared up! I can actually go without makeup! But if I DO wear foundation, now it doesn't crust and flake around my chin! Amazing. It is VERY squeaky-cleaning, so follow up with toner/moisturizer. I love Eau Roma and Celestial together. Love. My skin isn't greasy at the end of the day! It's 10pm and it still feels... like nothing! Not greasy, not dry... just SKIN. <333

I have VERY sensitive skin and was reluctant to try this bar (in fact I waited two weeks after buying it to try it). I can count on one hand the number of past "sensitive skin" products that I've been able to use without some sort of irritation. What a pleasant surprise this bar was! Most importantly, my skin wasn't irritated after using it...it felt soft, clean and better than it has in decades! If it's truly possible for skin to feel "calm", this really does it! This is being added to my "can't live without Lush item list". If your skin likes to react to products, I highly recommend giving this a try!

Wow! I just used this cleanser for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised - I have sensitive skin and it dries easily, and at almost 35 I finally decided to start taking care of my skin properly. I was very pleased with how this soap made my skin feel. I followed it up with Gorgeous skin cream, which is also awesome. After just a few days of using Lush products to clean and moisturize my face, I can already feel a difference, and even see brighter skin with smaller pores. This cleanser is going to be a great gentle addition to my new skin care regime!

I have struggled with acne for most of my life and I have tried every cleanser under the sun! It took me awhile to pick Fresh Farmacy, because I never thought a bar cleanser would work for me: boy was I wrong!! FF has made my skin eponentially better in just a couple weeks. Combined with Grease Lightning and my Imperialis moisturizer, I have never felt better about my skin! I even go out without makeup sometimes now! Thanks Lush! Never ever quit making this stuff!!

I picked up a bar of Fresh Farmacy at the recommendation of one of the nice Lush ladies at my nearby mall when I had gone in to try Coalface. She suggested that, given the pretty cold, harsh weather we're currently having in Maryland, I might want to try Fresh Farmacy instead of Coalface or Angels with Dark Faces.

I got my bar and then read the reviews on the site, looking for some of the cons. Now, I don't have horrible acne or anything- no 'pizza face', but I have perpetually bumpy skin- my pores are congested and manifest in small bumps that get on my nerves, and that I've never been able to deal with. Fresh Farmacy has been able to help with that immensely. My skin is noticably smoother.

One thing I have to say is that it's not going to be an overnight miracle worker for everyone- it wasn't for me. In fact, the first time I used it, I noticed that my skin almost seemed bumpier. I looked beforehand, and then afterwards, and I wasn't breaking out- the small, stubborn bumps on my face were starting to bring the stubborn stuff inside of them to the surface. Several washings later, many of the bumps have started disappearing as my pores are systematically being cleaned out. My skin feels cleaner, and it's nice to know that if I lean into the mirror, I can see fresher, less dull looking skin too.

One thing to keep in mind- YOU MUST ABSOLUTELY WASH YOUR FACE THOROUGHLY WITH THIS SOAP. It is a bit on the drying side, and it WILL leave a residue on your face if you don't make sure to clean up properly afterwards. I made the mistake of trying to do a rinse and run instead of normally ensuring that I had gotten all of the soap on my face, and ended up having to buy a bottle of vitamin E oil just to keep it semi-hydrated since I didn't have a hand towel with me at work to clean up. Just take the extra minute to make sure your face is completely clean of Fresh Farmacy before you leave the sink/shower, and you should be fine.

You will most likely want something to moisturise your face afterwards. Unfortunately, the Imperalis sample I got ended up turning my face red, but I think most basic ones should work nicely with Fresh Farmacy.

I've been searching for a cleanser for years and it's come to this Fresh Farmacy. It's amazingly gentle and helps reduce the redness in my skin and break outs.

I'm a very busy girl with a physically demonading job and I'm a bodybuilder so i've always had trouble with break outs and i'm pleased to say this is my product of choice.

It does feel a bit drying and tight (i have dry skin) but I follow up with Eau Roma toner and Celestial moisturizer and whalla! perfect skin. I also use grease lightening at night and oh my on my way to skin heaven!

First Lush saved my hair and now they've save my skin what next?!

I bought this on a whim along with Eau de Roma Toner and Imperalis Moisturizer. I have sensitive, prone to break out around my mouth and chin (hormonal) combination skin. I went through moving out (stress), going off the pill, getting my period at a random time and other stress with no major problems and it's definitely because of this soap! Sure it can be drying but I experimented with how often I use it and find once a day (at night to remove makeup) is best. I have had one or two small blemishes that are all hormones and this soap dries them right up nicely with no scarring.

After a month I am very happy and have purchased it again. I know everyone says this but I have tried A LOT of products to balance out my annoying skin.

It's worth trying! See if its right for you! :)

I have been searching for a good daily cleanser because I've been having some break outs lately as well as unusually oily skin and this product works perfectly. It doesn't take much and after only 2 days of use my skin has improved. This lovely cleanser has improved discolouration, helps control my oily skin so much as well as dry out and zap my pimples without drying out my skin too much. I'd recommend to use a moisturiser along side this product if you don't have excessively oily skin or just don't like the clean feeling that this cleanser produces. It's easy to use because it's a creamy lather and it smells pretty decent, not delicious but calming.

I have never had problem skin - the only minor issues I have are the occasional pimples here and an oily t-zone. This cleanser is amazing at mattifying my skin, balancing out the skin tone, and creating an overall clean, healthy glow. I use it in combination with Tea Tree Water + Enzymion and these work like a dream!

I sometimes find it can be a bit drying and on those days I opt for a more intense moisturizer or just apply extra.

This product really surprised me. I was convinced I would always need a scrubby facial cleanser to keep my combo skin feelin' clean, so I stuck with Ocean Salt and Angels on Bare Skin.
However, I received Fresh Farmacy as a sample and I loved it. I mean, I LOVED. IT. It left my skin a kind of clean that no scrubby cleanser has ever accomplished. I never thought a soap-based cleanser designed for sensitive skin could make my skin feel this way -- so soft, smooth, and tight (in a good way). It is now a part of my regular skin care routine.
So, you should try it. It might just surprise you!

I never really used a cleaner in the past, i never really needed to. I have sensitive clear skin but once i received the heralism cleanser as a sample i thought i would purchase a cleanser and try it out.
It doesnt smell overly amazing but it doesnt smell bad either. I find its amazing for my skin. I have clear, sensitive skin and i find it leaves it fresh and clean and doesnt cause me to get pimples or anything in the nature.
You get a huge chunck which i didnt think was much, it really does last forever.
I get my face wet and i take the cleanser and glide it over my entire face then wash it off! Super super easy! I couldnt live without this cleanser!

This cleanser i read alot about people complaining that it doesnt take off make up... it was never made to do that just a FYI.

I use this product every day. I love it. I get eczema on my face from other products - happily not from LUSH. The smell is light and fades away quickly. The soap leaves my face feeling clean, fresh, and seems to balance everything well. I following it up with some Vanishing Cream. My acne is nearly gone & no eczema. I also use ocean salt scrub regularly.

I was looking for a really good cleanser & I definitely found it, love the fresh farmacy bar. It's deep cleaning & I can see a noticeable difference in my skin. I start by working the bar into a lather, then massaging the lather onto my skin, & then I rinse off with a wash cloth. I finish with a dab of grease lightning, & I've noticed a big difference with my acne. Definitely will be buying this again.

Ive gotta say that I am new to Lush and after rellying heavily on all these customer reviews, I felt compelled to share my story. I normally use tea trea foaming wash from the body shop and was tired of the NON-oil formula that stripped away the good oil from my skin. Now I find that my skin is glowing and my breakouts are rare.

I've never had acne, but I do get the occasional breakout every so often. I've tried almost every cleanser out there, but Fresh Farmacy is the only one that actually clears up my skin, reduces the redness of my breakout(s), and keeps them from coming back. It may dry out your skin upon first washing your face with it; I find it sometimes makes my skin feel tight. But after a while, that affect goes away, and you're left with clear, blemish-free skin. It doesn't burn or sting my skin, and I can honestly say it is the only affective acne/blemish cleanser I've found that ACTUALLY does what it says it will. I have combination skin which can act up here and there, so to me, this product is a miracle one!

This is by far the best cleanser I have ever used on my pain in the butt combination skin!! It's the only one that even comes close to balancing my oily/flaky dry skin. I also use it to keep my chest and back clear. This product helps to keep my skin looking great, which makes me feel terrific!! It is my favorite Lush product. Please try it...You won't regret it!

I tried using this cleanser twice a day, and then dropped it to once a day, then dropped it down to a few times a week. I lather it up over the sink and apply it to wet face, massage with my finger tips, and then rinse off. I then follow up with toner (Breath of Fresh Air, or Tea Tree Water), and then moisturizer (Enzymion or Vanishing Cream). No combination of products could get Fresh Farmacy to work for me. It irritated my skin (made it itchy), and gave me cystic acne on my cheeks. Kept my forehead nice and clear though (albeit itchy!). I have acne-prone sensitive skin that's on the greasier side. If you have greasy tough skin, this may work better for you!
