Comments about LUSH Forever in Bloom:

Used this today for the first time and am really impressed with the results. Its a lot thinner of a conditioner then american cream and retread, but it still works very well.

I saw some reviews saying it smelled like manure but i disagree there is definitely a floral scent to it, just not a Godiva type floral scent, more musky, which i enjoy.

Left my hair soft and smooth once it dried and made my usually all over the place hair lie flat so im very satisfied :)

highly recommended for people with shorter hair because with long hair you would have to use a lot

Comments about LUSH Forever in Bloom:

I thought I'd give this a try when full-time Retro was launch. I hated it. A total waste of funds. The consistency of it was super thin and runny (when I pour a squirt in my palm, it falls through my fingers right away). Also, it's very light, which required repeated applications to cover my hair (shoulder length).

The smell reminds me of wet clay or playdough.

I regret getting this product, I went back to AC.

Comments about LUSH Forever in Bloom:

I tried this after not being happy with Veganese. I was encouraged by the reviews for this one and they were right - it adds shine, doesn't weigh my hair down but helps with the fly aways, though nothing but lead gel would keep my fine, straight hair completely down during the super-cold, super-dry-air Ontario winters.

I use a good amount - due to the lightness this isn't a product you can skimp on - maybe the size of two or three quarters for my chin length bob. I leave it on for a few to 7 minutes while I'm slathering on the Quinquereme soap and rinse off all at once. It rinses easily and quickly and I never feel a residue. After styling there's a good, healthy shine even when I use the blow dryer.

          Pretty good stuff.

Oh, about the smell - it's called Forever in Bloom? That must be because they're planted directly in a cow field, cos that's exactly what this smells like to me, fresh spring breezes of cow manure. I grew up a country girl, which is why I recognize that smell. Fortunately, the smell isn't that strong and I can't smell it after I apply it, definitely not at all after I wash it off, so don't worry about any lingering frangrances!

The only drawback for me is the consistency. It tends to run right out of my hand before I get an opportunity to put it on my hair. I almost think that a spray bottle would be better than the flip top.
