I've tried a number of shampoo bars from different companies and this is BY FAR the best one I have used yet. Other shampoo bars would make my hair either a little "too clean" or feel as if my hair has been glued together. The Dr. Peppermint Bar, however, makes my hair feel amazing!
The reason I am giving it 5 stars is because I honestly don't feel like I want to try anything else. I originally purchased it to be a travel shampoo as it is small and would make for low-maintenance showers but I now use it as my everyday shampoo (I wash my hair every 1-2 days). It lathers surprisingly well, cleans my hair and leaves it feeling soft and (seems) healthier already. The smell is just an added bonus.

This is a great product, I think it would work best on hair that is not colored or chemically treated. Creates a luminous shine, soft locks, and lighter hair creating volume. Your hair smells fresh long after use. I didn't like this minty smell at first, but once your in the shower its awesome! It's similar to the effect of Aveda's rosemary mint shampoo. It's a great travel product.

LOVE this bar. Hesitated to get it at first like someone else ssaid since there were only 2 reviews. Gave it a whirl anyways. Bought this back in July when I cut my hair off VERY SHORT (into a victoria beckham like do) after years of abuse left my hair fried. I'm growing it out healthy now, no irons, heat, dye, etc. Have been using this shampoo for 4 mnths now, didn't notice much after the first month, other than clean, healthy hair, but into the second third and fourth months I noticed my hair was growing MUCH faster. I have not changed ANYTHNG else, so I guess it's the shampoo! (doing what it claims! yahooo!!) It has grown 4 inches in 3 and a half months, normally my hair grows about half an inch per month :) YAY!! LOVE this an canot recommend enough - smells like demon in the dark soap - yum! My fave solid shampoo by far (tried godiva, reincarnate, and new!)

My mom had cancer several years ago, and once she got out of the hospital, we decided to go to Lush.
Everything in the store smelt amazing, but the smell of the Dr. Peppermint is what drew us into the store off the street. My mom had just gone through chemotherapy and radiation treatments and lost a lot of her hair, so she decided to give the Dr. Peppermint a try. Within weeks, her hair had begun to grow back, and had reached chin length! I was so impressed, I tried it out myself, and it made my hair thicker!!!
A few years ago I burnt my hair in a chemical accident, and ever since i've been looking for Dr. Peppermint to help me out (Lush stopped selling it for a while). I'm going to be making a bulk order today so that i never run out!
