This stuff tastes totally awful... I don't think it's a taste I can get used to either.

When I first tries ultrablast I didn't like it that much but not I don't mind it. I don't think that will be happening with Dirty toothy tabs. I can't taste any mint whatsoever, they just taste salty and weird. I'll give it a few more tries, but I'm really not please overall.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of the package if I don't want them... I would feel bad throwing it out.

I used these for the first time today, and am really pleased with the results. My mouth still feels really clean even though I've brushed my teeth hours ago and have had things to eat and drink since.
I also only used half a tablet, which I found to be more than enough for cleaning. Some of it had trouble dissolving and was a bit gritty, but for the most part it foamed up nicely and cleaned everywhere in my mouth.

I was hesitant to try these at first, as I wasn't sure if these would also protect my teeth as well as clean them. The sales associate in the store assured me that they do both. Really glad I gave them a chance, but will try a different flavour next time; I find the baking soda taste a bit too overpowering.

This product lives up to its name: my mouth felt dirtier after brushing than it did before. It took an awful lot of rinsing to get rid of the chalky, gritty residue that this product left behind. Eww.

"Dirty" toothy tabs have no discernible mint component to the flavour. Plain baking soda is much more pleasant to use for tooth brushing than this product. If you're considering trying Toothy tabs, don't bother with this flavour.

Incredibly foamy and effective, so I only use half a tab at a time which makes for great value. Chew the tab up almost completely before you start. If you brush well and for 3 minutes like they recommend, it really cleans down in between everything and your teeth feel super smooth and polished. The taste is a little strange but not bad, and the texture takes some getting used to but now that I've used them a couple times, I think I'm addicted. Can't wait to try the other flavours.

I was so hopeful as I love the idea, however, this was a disappointment. I felt like I had baking soda in my throat for hours after I used them. Chucked them. What a waste.

After reading several articles about Tooth Tabs, I made a mental note to try them.

We all know the importance of good dental care and this toothpaste option doesn't disappoint.

I don't have a problem with the taste since I've used non-conventional toothpastes before (natural, baking soda and Ayureveda products). If you use Crest, Colgate and the like, it will take getting accustomed to this chalky, less-foaming (no sodium laurel sulfates) great product.

This is a great concept! It's great for putting in your purse and using when you're not able to carry around a tube of toothpaste. I like that you can recycle the packaging and the great clean feeling after you use it. However, I am allergic to something in toothpastes (honestly, I have no idea), and I can't use this product too many days in a row or else I have sore gums. The taste is a little odd when you crunch it at first, but it becomes foamy very quickly. Overall, it is great for emergency use, but I can't use it everyday.

What I like about this product is the fact that I can recycle the box after and not have to throw it away like conventional toothpaste tubes. I also like the size of the box, I can take it along with me on trips.
Unlike other reviews I have read, I don't find the tabs to have a pasty feeling when I brush. The Dirty Toothy Tabs taste like mint, it's not as dominant as conventional tooth pastes, but not a big issue.

The only thing I don't like is the price ... And that is why I will resort to using them only at night and using conventional tooth paste in the morning. I will still be buying less of the tubes and generating less waste!

Chewing it up and brushing is simple enough, different and fun but sadly this particular flavor disappointed me. I was expecting a minty taste but instead tasted almost nothing at all. It was salty at first more than anything. The other flavors are wonderful! But Dirty truly makes your mouth feel dirty...I actually brushed with my regular toothpaste afterwards.

I was at a LUSH customer party and we all got free samples of the Toothy Tabs before they even came out in America. They worked soooo well and I use them for when I travel or when my teeth don't feel their cleanest. These are awesome!!

I absolutely love the toothy tabs. They're somewhat gritty but I find that they've whitened my teeth more in a few days than the commercial whitening toothpastes have done in months. I love that the minty flavor is definitely there, but subtle enough that it doesn't burn the tongue. The toothy tabs have also warded off bad breath longer than any other toothpaste I've ever used. I used to hate brushing my teeth but now I look forward to doing it! They're also great to carry around on the go if you need to quickly freshen up after lunch or dinner.

Despite the taste and the chalkiness of this product, I found it rather perfect. I was a bit skeptical when I took the tab home, chewing the thing into paste and then brushing my teeth. The taste was far from horrid and was tolerable, to say the least. Lush surprised me with the foam that never seemed to end, the taste wasn't as strong as most claims and didn't alter the delightful flavors of my food. Lovely product, though. I would indeed buy this.

I bought this on a whim because I was intesested in it. I was very disapointed with it. Maybe I just got a bad batch, mine don't have a minty taste. The texture is weird, and the taste is horrible, it's like salty chalk. I would like it if it tasted a bit more like mint. They are also very expensive, about [$] a box which only contain 40 (this would last about 20 days providing you brush twice a day). I would not purchase this again, but I think that everyone should try it for the experience.

I couldn't resist trying these out. I love the minimal packaging and the fact that the container is cardboard and therefore can be recycled. The tablets did foam but I wished they generated a bit more foam. I didn't find that it tasted too much like baking soda like some people had said but I do wish there was a stronger mint flavour. All in all, I think this product is great to keep handy in your purse during a night out or for travelling when taking a large tube of toothpaste would be inconvenient.

I ordered two boxes when these came out. I travel, and in doing so regularly am subjected to scowling security officers looking through my personals. Fret no more. These tablets are FREAKIN' AWESOME! Sure, they don't get my teeth as noticeably 'clean' as my chemical based products, but I feel better using them. The box also serves as a great bathroom freshener, I couldn't figure out what the wonderful minty smell was. These are perfect for putting inside an emergency date kit. Feeling unfresh? Stop at any sink and clean those chompers. Now, the real test will come on my next visit to the dentist.

I like that the tabs are discrete. I can tuck a travel brush in my purse with a pack of these and be ready to freshen up at a moments notice.



I am noticing some sensitivity (although it's an old issue) now that I am using the toothy tabs. I have to limit my toothy use to twice a week because I still need my sensitive toothpaste.



Might even be able to get away with a half a tab since they do foam up quite nicely!

It's so simple! You just crush the tab between your front two teeth then start brushing your teeth normally! I use an electric tooth brush so it foams up so much! I enjoy it very very much. After I brush my teeth, it feels EXTREMELY clean! It's as if I have never felt my teeth before. I was sold after the first tab and I NEVER want to go back to my regular tooth brush.

I was packing carry-on only for a trip and was trying to take as many solid products as possible, so I thought I'd give these a try. On the plus side, teeth felt clean and my breath was fresher after use. On the negative side, they're kind of gross. There is not enough mint to overpower the mouthful-of-baking-soda flavor. In short, handy for travel, but there's no way I could bring myself to use these on a daily basis.
