My skin had been breaking out for months and prom is just around the corner. I went to Lush to get something to clear up my face and the employee recommended Cosmetic Warrior. The smell isn't pleasant but it's tolerable. After the first use I noticed reduced redness and tightened pores.

I got this face mask as a sample tin at my last stop in at LUSH. I told the associate who worked there that when I'm stressed out I tend to pick at my face, which is a bad habit I picked up as a kid... being exam period; It's pretty bad again. After the two face masks she recommended not being in the store, I was given Cosmetic Warrior to try.
My housemate and I looooove trying out samples from LUSH; this was one that she took a pass on because of the smell. I, being a person who always tries things at least once, decided to try on the mask anyways.

As I was applying the mask, the smell for me was simply overwhelming. I read some reviews online that said it was the tea tree oil, but my sample had more of a garlic overbearing smell. I managed to stick it out for at least 8 mins, but it was with great difficult as the whole time the smell was absolutely nauseating. There was at least two distinct moments where I actually thought I might throw up, and I have never had that issue with any product before.

Washing it off I had to hold my breath the whole time, since the smell was worse when it came in contact with water... but I did notice that my skin felt a lot softer, which is saying something because I already moisturize my face twice a day. My red, patchy blemishes seemed to blend in more with my skin, which is amazing. So I really did at least get some positive results after one use.

However, I'm a little hesitant to keep using this product simply because of the smell. I had to use toner on my face after I took off the mask because the smell still lingered on. As much as this product offers some benefits, I don't think it's worth it to keep using if the experience of using the mask was as poor for me as it was.

I use cosmetic warrior when I feel my skin is way out of control. If i have unbalanced, uneven, acne prone skin then this saves me every time!

You can feel the effects of it immediately, acne doesn't stand a chance. It also helps rebalance my skin so that I'm not jumping from extremely oily to very dry in a single use. It was also gentle for my sensitive skin. I like to pair this with Imperialis for a nice rounded skin routine.

I've had pretty clear skin growing up, but as soon as I started going to university my face began breaking out and I've had constant breakouts since. I decided to give Lush face masks and shot and went for Cosmetic Warrior with the intent to clear my skin. Using it every 3-4 days, I noticed that it reduced my breakouts and was actually preventing the nonstop breakouts I've been having for the past couple of years. It also leaves my face extremely soft. The cons are that the product doesn't have the best smell, but it isn't as bad as everyone is claiming. It smells more of tea tree oil than it does of garlic. It was also a bit clumpy feeling on my skin, but these are minor complaints and and pros DEFINITELY out-weigh the cons. I definitely recommend Cosmetic Warrior if you have troubled skin!!

I love love love this mask. It is a bit of a shock to put something straight out of the fridge onto your face, but it warms up quickly. The bits in it aren't paticularily attractive, but they do their thing. Cosmetic warrior soothes my skin, tones the redness almost completely down, and clears up breakouts fairly quickly.

Had a bit of a get together with three friends and all of us slapped on a good amount of Cosmetic Warrior. Facials and cosmos all around; my bedroom was pretty much lit with bright faces! Honestly, this was awesome, the smell was a bit of a turn off, but it wasn't all too bad and frankly it didn't matter AT ALL by the time we washed the mask off. My friends and I have our trouble spots, but the common factor is that we all have oily skin. We all felt our skin get a little tighter, softer, and much brighter. This is a good go-to mask for rough days.

I was less than a week away from my wedding and feeling the stress, and my face showed it. Blotchy, hurting, and breaking out does not make for good photos! So I stopped by a Lush store, desperate for something that would help. I wanted something with minimal exfoliation, as my skin was already so irritated. The girl working that day recommended this mask, and said to use it every second day til the wedding. My goodness. It smells horrible. Absolutely awful. Gag inducing. But holy cow did it make a difference. My breakout stopped getting worse and actually started getting better. The redness was toned down a lot, and best of all my face didn't hurt! I had bad skin as a teenager, but things have got much better (thank you Fresh Farmacy!) in the last few years. At close to thirty, I wasn't expecting to have skin like a 15 year old for my wedding, and this mask helped save the day!

cleared most of my blackheads after 1 use! tightened and cleared my pores. used a cleanser and then applied a scoop all over my face and let sit for 10 minutes (I didn't mind the strong tea tree oil smell, couldnt smell any garlic), and then wiped off with a wet face cloth and finished with a splash of cold water. Pat face dry and treat spots with grease lightning if needed and then a light moiturizer (i like cosmetic lad)

I have used a lot of the masks made by Lush and so far this one is the only mask to actually irritate my skin. I found it dried my skin out, and as other revues mentioned brought things to the surface, but it never cleared them up. I have sensitive skin and actually had accidently grabbed this product instead of the one I meant to get, and I am sad to report it wasn't a happy surprise. It's probably fine for people with skin that isn't as sensitive as mine but watch out if your skin is in need of something gentler this is not it, its earned its name Warrior! ;)

Feels like I just had a facial! I recommend using it everyday for a few days until you start to see results, then once a week or as needed! But, Oi Vey! The garlic is intense!

I use all fresh face masks that apply to my skin type . My skin changes with the seasons. I have 3 favorites and cosmetic warrior is one of them. This one is the most comfortable to wear for the recommended time.

I find that this product works better for my breakouts than Cupcake. When I'm having a bad breakout, or my skin is really oily (like in the summer) I use it every day for a week. And it works! The only issue: the smell is offputting, but i put up with it because it works so well.

I have acne and right after using this product for the first time I got tiny pimples all over my face. This product was supposed to relieve acne but did the opposite for me.

I keep a jar of this in the fridge for when I can feel a breakout coming on (usually during that oh-so-charming time of the month), or for any time my face needs a gentle pick-me-up. It flushes out your pores and absorbs oil, while leaving skin soft and fresh. The only issue is it smells pretty unpleasant, due to the garlic. When my skin feels too fragile for a more vigorous cleansing, I reach for Cosmetic Warrior.

I pick up a pot of cosmetic warrior if my PMS seems like it could get nasty. I don't break out much except for the odd spot here and there, but it more than gets made up for by PMS. This mask helps clear up my spots quickly and effectively and leaves my skin smooth and soft. I also use it on my boyfriend who has bad acne and it seems that it's helped so far with him.

This is an absolute must for maintaining clear skin. I like to wash with Ocean Salt, apply my mask, then finish with Grease Lightning and moisturizer. Cosmetic Warrior draws out all the blockages and buildup hiding in the skin. One warning: If you haven't used it before, this mask will probably make your skin break out more for a few days before it gets better as it pulls out underlying oil, so start treatment at least two weeks before you need to show your pretty face!
