When I get sunburns, I find that this is great to soothe the skin (and this includes when I look like a lobster).

I also have had several burns (I'm accident prone). When the first burn happened and it was relatively safe to put some ointment on it, I didn't have the money for the really expensive stuff that the doctor prescribed. I went to my regular Lush store where I went to get my grease lightning, and told the lovely ladies of what had happened. One of them recommended this product, and it works great!

I've always heard great things about Lush but could never seem to find the time to do my research and actually go to a store. One day, I ended up going to get a gift for a friend and was totally pulled into the wonder of Lush! I was approached by a sales rep and we began talking, I told her of my combination skin coupled with my break out areas (forehead, cheeks, chin) and also mentioned that I didn't break out too frequently (around 1-2 times a month). She suggested products to help balance out the overall health of my skin. So since December of last year (2012) I've been using Angels on Bare Skin and Cosmetic Lad daily as a cleanser/moisturizer duo, and to say I was surprised at how well they worked would be an understatement. It completely changed the texture of my skin from bumpy and oily with certain dry patches to one uniform smooth skinned face that has yet to break out! Sure I'm left with some discolouration from previous scarring but overall my skin feels great. This moisturizer is lightweight but not so light that you don't feel the hydrating properties. Most importantly it provides enough moisture and hydration so my skin doesn't become an oily mess trying to compensate for the natural oils that are stripped away each time I wash my face. I can't imagine life without this "Lad" anymore!

After only a couple weeks of implementing a new skincare routine (using this moisturizer) I can definitely see and feel a difference! My skin is soft, it smells fantastic, and it just looks healthier. I didn't even realize I had patches of redness until they were no longer there! Now I see myself in the mirror looking revitalized and glowing. I can confidently say I will be coming back to this product for a long time.

Love this product, but I found that I have to apply a bit more than I thought, especially on the drier bits of my face. (Still not a ton that needs to be applied, though.) LOVE the smell, it's very light and floral in a non-cloying way, very fresh. Works really well on my eczema - and is also holding up very well to winter weather. You might need to apply once and then reapply a few minutes later, but then you should be good for the rest of the day - I love that it sinks in very quickly for smooth, happy skin.

I was all out of moisturizer and used my boyfriends little black container of cosmetic lad. I fell in love immediately. This moisturizer leaves my skin feeling great, light enough to use in the summer and soaks in quickly. I find it a bit too light for cold Canadian winters so I add Skin Drink so keep my cheeks hydrated. My skin has cleared up since using this moisturizer, fewer breakouts and the few I get are small. I also use little or no primer now that I've been using this moisturizer. I find my makeup holds all day and doesn't melt off my face. I'm glad my boyfriend introduced me to this and I'll be passing it along to the boys and girls in my family.

I use this product after cleansing with Angels on Bare Skin and toning with Breath of Fresh Air. It is everything I needed in a moisturizer at this point in my life. It evened out my oily and dry bits and keeps me even all day. It is probably the best smelling moisturizer I've tried from Lush and has given me the best results.

I love this both as a moisturiser and to use to style my hair on days I'm feeling lazy. Using this regularly has really helped clear up my skin - before Cosmetic Lad I didn't believe that moisturisers could make a difference!

This is the best moisturizer that I've tried!!! It's not too heavy...you don't need a lot of it. AND it smells sooooo good. It leaves my skin feeling touchably soft!!! Trust me, I caress my skin with this moisturizer. ;)

I have dry skin but I used to only moisturize once a day, because other skin creams made me look greasy... But not Cosmetic Lad! I love this proudct because it is so lightweight and moisturizing too. It has really helped me even out my skin tone, and it smells delicious.

I once switched to the imperialis, and my face was not very happy with me :( I will never use another skin cream again..I am a cosmetic lad for life!

This moisturizer works so beautifully for my oily/combo, sensitive AND breakout-prone skin! It smells amazing, the pot lasts for ages because you don't need a lot (considering the price of this guy vs. the price of other Lush moisturizers, this is a huge steal), and the absolute best part: THE HEALING. I don't break out too often since I've started using other Lush skincare products, but when I do, I still tend to scar pretty easily. Cosmetic Lad has helped my scars heal a lot faster than they normally would, though. It's great under makeup and at night, and it smells so freaking good I want to eat my face every time I put it on. According to the products page, this is the second-last best selling moisturizer, which I think is such a shame. Please NEVER get rid of this incredible product, Lush!

I have dry, sensitive skin. I first spritz with "Eau Roma Water" then just use a touch of Cosmetic Lad (it's true that a little goes a long way!)

I love the light, gentle scent and find that my skin doesn't get all awful and flaky anymore. Hurray!

I love this product so much. It smells so good (and I can't tell there's lavender in it), it moisturizes really well, and I use it on my face before bed, and on my hands when they are too dry for Tiny Hands.

Great for everybody with dry skin! This moisturizer should be aimed at everybody! I use it in the winter when skin gets a bit drier. The scent is amazing, kind of like Orange creamsicles. If you're not willing to spend fifty bucks on a moisturizer and you have dry, itchy skin, give it a try! I found it a bit too greasy for summer though....

I recently tried a sample of this product from my local Lush store. I have combo/sensitive skin. I really enjoyed this product. I found it to be nice & light, and it also made my skin softer without feeling greasy. Just the right balance. It spreads easily, and a little seems to go a long way. I can't get enough of the delicious scent. Great job Lush!

This product is amazing! i got a sample of it when i went to go buy lush products the other day. And it also happens that i have horrible burn and skin peeling on my shoulders! So i decided to use this product on my face and on my shoulders and it's pretty amazing. I saw a great result on my face, it's not too greasy on my skin, probably because my skin is a bit dry. But honestly it's amazing! I would want to buy it again (:

i've found this to be the MOST AMAZING summer moisturizer i've ever used. i bought celestial in january and found it a bit heavy but a very good moisturizer in the winter, no chapped skin and never had one dry spot. however, in the past few weeks, the heat + celestial has been causing me to get lots of tiny bumps on my chin. i got a sample of this and immediately knew my search was over (i've tried samples of most of the other lush moisturizers and found many of them broke out my sensitive skin or were too pricey). it sinks into my skin so quickly and i can actually feel it soothing it as it does so. it also mixes wonderfully with the colour supplements. i use this after angels on bareskin (and ocean salt every other day) and breath of fresh air - so amazing. it's especially soothing after ocean salt scrub. smells like an orange creamsicle - YUM. try it, you won't be disappointed!

I just started using this product with the combination of Angels On Bare Skin, tea tree water, and grease lightning to hopefully combat my acne skin.



So far I feel like this product is abit heavy as a moisturizer but i prefer to keep my skin well moisturized so this may be good. It gives my skin a healthy glow and a more even tone. I haven't broken out specifically from this product but my existing acne is drying up and and calming down.
