I love this stuff! I really like light, not-too-herbal, sweeter and creamier scents, and the other moisturizers didnt really fir the bill for me; they were all WAY to herbal and strong-smelling to me. However, this was the one exception! The light almond and light-vanilla-ish scent was perfectly lightly-sweet and creamy.
I dont even have sensitive skin, in fact my skin doesnt really have problems; I just needed a nice moisturizer that, unlike my other ones, finished non-greasy and made my skin feel soft and nice overall. Again, all the others were just too strong smelling and gave me a headache in the store... this moisturizer just let my skin run free!
However, I cant really help in the skin-evening department, because I use this under make-up (not even directly under make-up; i use this, then a thin layer of BB cream and then some powder) because my old moisturizer let the powder fall off, even when I used it and the BB cream. Now i dont even think I have to use the BB cream, i think! It seems like it would do great under make-up!

I have very sensitive skin on my face and easily break out into a rash when exposed to too much fragrance. I am even allergic to chlorine in tap water and need to use a chlorine filter in my shower to prevent a horrible rash on my face. I am also a great fan of Lush products for my hair and body.

I hesitated to mess with my usual face cream and cleanser. Then I bought the celestial cream, along with, the Eau Roma Water. I did my homework, used a sample cream for a few days from the store. The first few days, I noticed nothing. No rash or irritation. Great!! 2 weeks into using it, I started getting bumps on my face, jawline and chin. The tiny white bumps were also apprearing around my nose. Celestial was so greasy that it was gradually building up on my skin and was causing bumps. I have sensistive skin and have a rash if something is irritating my skin but never have had a breakout or an acne problem. Imagine my shock that my skin had so many bumps 2 weeks into using Celestial. Not all sensitive skin tends to be dry, I have normal skin with sensititvity. Celestial did not suit my skin at all. It is too heavy and greasy for my liking. Will never be buying again for sure.

The verdict - doesn't cause any rash but too greasy to cause bumps and breakouts. Don't buy if you have a normal tone, sensistve skin.

I apply this product after I wash my face and apply my Tea Tree Toner Water. I really do love it and it has a great smell. I know it's cheesy but this product is the staple piece for "A Little Goes a Long Way." They should rename the product to that. I use about the size of a nickel and it does my whole face and neck. The only con this product has is that it is just a little greasy. I can say that I will never switch mosturizers again !

I live in Canada so naturally winters here do awful things to my skin. For 3 months of the year I have incredibly dry and flaky skin. Its often hard to find a product that actually moisturizes and fixes the problem as apposed to just relieving it temporarily. Not to mention I have really sensitive skin to the point where other moisturizers would unbearable to put and would often cause me to break out. This moisturizer saved my skin. It not only relieves my dry skin and irritation it eliminates the look of my flaky skin for hours without reapplication. This little pot will last you a long time. This is my holy grail product and I feel so extravagant moisturizing my face with dove orchids. This product is worth every penny.

This was recommended to me for my dry, sensitive and flaking skin.

The moisturizer calmed a lot of the redness I had on my cheeks but it was too heavy and oily for my skin. It felt as if it wasn't absorbing. I attempted to use it on my body where my skin is even drier and had the same issue. In the end I ended up bringing it back because I was breaking out and concluded that it was because of the heavy cream. It smells great though and the consistency feels pretty luxurious but in the end it wasn't for me

I have completely converted from my old moisturizer to Celestial!!! I am so satisfied with the product. I opened the product about a week ago and have decided to NEVER go back to department store brands! First of all, because LUSH is commited to not testing its products on animals and two, it uses much more natural ingredients; I can actually recognize them on the label! Three, I tried it on my skin in the store and it smelled GLORIOUS! Now, I use it every day on my face. It is SO smooth and hydrates my skin all day! (My old moisturizer would leave a residue on my skin and did not leave it hydrated.)I can't stop touching my skin because it has made it so soft. I have also noticed an improvement in my acne (ALREADY!) around my nose. Before, my nose was lined with an angry rim of red, dry skin. Now it is slowly clearing up (doesn't look as raw/dry)! However, I only use enough [of the moisturizer] to cover my index finger or else it makes your face a little greasy. I will definitely look into buying more LUSH products due to this awesome moisturizer! Two thumbs up!!!

I finally caved after reading all of the amazing reviews on this product. Not too long ago I purchased the "Eau Roma" Toner and thought I should get a moisturizer to pair it with. Boy, am I ever amazed with the Celestial face cream!!

I have suffered eczema on my face and neck for years, it can be very hard to deal with. Until now, the only thing that cleared it up was a prescribed medical cream. But this moisturizer does everything and MORE. I apply a decent amount before bed and really massage it in for a minute, and before I put my makeup on in the morning I apply a tiny bit more.

It clears up my dry cracked flakey skin, and leaves me with a silky smooth face and neck . I know I sound corny but I really cannot believe I have finally found something that WORKS, and I feel good about putting it on my body! Natural ingredients? sound good to me.

Anyone who suffers from eczema should really try this stuff out, I am happy to say I no longer hate my skin.

I have been using this daily (with angels on bare skin) for a couple weeks now and I already see a difference in the texture , color and over all look of my sensitive , dry skin.

I love that it absorbs quickly, that you only use a little a time and the smell is minimal with no greasy feeling.

My face and hands feel very soft and thats a first for me up here in the cold north where I am usually cracking all over the place.

I suffer from dry skin all year round and I've tried various other products that seem to work at first but lose their effectiveness after a couple of weeks. I've been using Celestial for a few months now, and while it is a bit on the greasy side and therefore not the most comfortable of facial creams it's moisturized my skin so that my face no longer has red, dry patches. While other moisturizers stung this one is extremely gentle. Because of the grease factor I use it once a day before going to bed. A word of caution though- use this sparingly. A little goes a long way and if you use too much you may break out, especially if you have combination/oily skin.

Despite all this I'd have to say the huge plus is the smell. I'm very picky about scents and this is absolutely heavenly. Like vanilla icing with a hint of almond- I wish there was a perfume like this!

I wasn't sure about a facial moisturiser from Lush (despite loving products for every other use), just because of the scents in the products and my super sensitive skin. But this in combination with Lush cleansers and toners works fantastically! Next time someone tries to tell me if its scented my skin can't handle it I will direct them here... I love the smell, and my skin has never been smoother and softer!

This is one of the nicer smelling products from lush, and very moisturizing! I use it everyday, twice a day and it moisturizes my skin wonderfully. The only thing you have to be careful about is the amount of it you put on your skin.

The first time, instead of just lightly dabbing my finger into the pot, I took a good portion of it and slathered it on to my face. It was so greasy! I had to use a tissue to blot the excess lotion and grease off my face.

I love using this in conjunction with my mineral powder foundations (I don't need to use liquid anymore with this moisturizer). My powder just sticks to this moisturizer! Love it.

I use this daily with the Eau Roma water as my moisturizing routine. I have incredibly sensitive skin, and I am also sensitive to scents. The scent is wonderful and light. The key is to use a dab, just enough - if you use too much it can feel heavy or greasy. I actually switched from Imperialis (also good) to this and I have loved it ever since :)

I have super sensitive and dry skin. Anything and everything I use will irritate my face. This is the first moisturizer ever that does not irritate my skin at all. It leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. The pleasant floral smell is great, l love it so much. Drugstore products smell too strong for me.
And yes it is a little greasy but I only use it at night so it doesn't really bother me.
I will buy Lush products forever!!

I use this facial moisturizer every morning and sometimes at night as well. Because it can be slightly greasy, I find that I only need to use a little bit to cover my whole face, but it works like a charm. It moisturizes my face for the rest of the day and it feels light on my face. It is also great for layering with sunscreen, makeup, etc. I went for a while trying different creams and this one has proven to be the best. I have been using it for at least two years now and I love it. I recently ran out and am lost without it!!

This product leaves your skin feeling and looking greasy all day :( make up doesn't sit well on skin if applied after moisturizing. Great for sensitive skin in that it didn't make me break out but I spend the day looking and feeling oily and shiny. Disappointed.

I have tried several moisturisers from Lush and this is by far the best one in my opinion. It smells absolutely heavenly and is very moisturising and rich. A little goes a long way. Other reviews say it is too greasy but I have found that wasn't the case for me. I have combination skin.

This moisturizer is absolutely amazing! I'm so hesitant to use creams of any sort on my face because I am so sensitive and break out prone but have a fairly dry skin. Usually the creams for blemishes are too drying and the creams for sensitive/dry skin are too heavy and cause more break outs! But not with this one, it sinks into my skin and I wake up every morning absolutely glowing! It also has never broken me out and the scent is heaven! I will definitely be repurchasing this cream when I run out! Oh, and the price isn't bad either!
