I bought this product based on the one review I had seen about Keratosis Pilaris. I also have this condition and this bar works amazing to help get rid of those irritating bumps! It is quite rough, so you don't have to scrub hard, just lightly but it works wonders! It leaves your skin quite soft too. I only use this on my arms and then use a normal body wash to finish. The smell is not the greatest but I don't care because it works for the Keratosis on my arms and I'm not so embarrassed to have my arms showing anymore! Highly recommend this product.

I bought this because I was going through WAY too much ocean salt. I bought a tiny bar (just to try it). IM HOOKED! Not only does it exfoliate like crazy but it leaves you feeling like you just put lotion on. I have really dry skin and this is PERFECT. My only caution is not to try to shave your legs after, I did and it gummed up my razor. I realize that this is not marketed as shaving lotion however you may get the same idea as me, and it's a bad one haha…

i watched a video about someone who doesnt know how to use this lush product and couldnt believe what she was talking about. ok guys this scrubby body butter isnt for shower. do u use ur other brand body butter while showering? no . so dont use this product with water and just wipe the scrub pieces and after you scrub ur legs, hips, arms. and of course not breasts.i cant believe someone can try this scrubby body butter on breasts...(ignore that video listen to me ;))

the scent is nice, light, not really noticeable. but ughhh the rest of it! it was really hard to use, the bits didnt exfoliate at all, just felt scratchy and kinda hurt. it didnt moisturize me at all, just felt like i had been coated in wax, i couldnt literally scratch it off my skin. and it still felt dry underneath the layers. also i thought i would feel somewhat cleansed but, haha no. i dont know why i didnt like this at all, since its such a popular product.

Every time I would go on this site, Buffy would always pop up and I was curious about it. After finally a month and a half of hesitating and looking at my budget (because im a teen who isn't a millionaire, ha ha) I decided to buy it. I first tried it a few hours ago. I love the texture of it, because it lathers really well on your skin (after you're done rinsing it out) the only ish thing is how greasy it felt on my skin. But the greasyness went away quickly and ended up moisturising really well. I will surely invest in this when its all used up!

Finally something that helps my poor skin. I have a mild form of Keratosis Pilaris. Red bumps, dry skin etc, very common.
This is an amazing exfoliating scrub, never in my life have I had such smooth skin and very soft at that!My skin felt like it already had lotion on it I loved the feeling! There was a bit of a greasy layer but I used the "Silky Underwear" dusting powder after I dried off and Whalla problem solved!I have been using the scrub about 2x a week for a month to control the amount of hard bumps and my skin is actually improving!
Bottom line this will become a regular staple in my shower routine!

I initially was wary about this product because of the smell. I figured if it was great it should smell out of this world. Though i dont find it smells out of this world, it is the most amazing product. Its like using lotion during the shower and like exfoliating it into you skin so that after the shower it feels like you already put cream on. That on its own i was blown away by. Other than that it also really exfoliates which i love and it leaves this nice creamy feeling on your skin, you just wash off the remaining exfoliating ingredient and step out of the shower, just pat dry and your skin feels so rich. I am definitely buying this product again and again.

So I've jsut gotten back from camping and I made myself a bit of a concoction to ease my sunburns, bites, stings, blisters and many scratches (I camp like nobody's business!) and after I got out of my oatmeal and baking powder bath I decided to smear on this stuff (which I honestly don't use often) because it moisturizes and, hey, it'll scratch a bit.

Now I've found that it's still coating my bug bites and it's really eased the itch of most of them! Few on my heel are still driving me nuts but all 30-40 of them on my legs are awesome right now! try it :D

For me, I like an exfoliator that is extremely gritty and rough and Buffy is the best I've found. Not only is it a great exfoliator but it really does have a butter-like moisturization effect on your skin which is greasy at first but after you have dried off, it is perfect and there is no need for lotion. I just wish it lasted longer for how pricey it is. I also love the herbal smell.

At first I thought it was too heavy but after drying off, it absorbed well and made my skin baby soft. There was no need to for moisturizer after. Scent could be more pleasant and noticeable though.

I have dry skin and it needs some good moisturizing. When i used this product it feels really nice. Very soft and silky. I tried to get used to the "silky" feeling BUT it just felt too greasy for me. Felt like they rubbed sticky butter all over the body. But this product is good for really dry skin.

It leaves a layer on your skin that is Impossible to get off, but after you go to sleep after using it it your skin is so soft in the morning. I deferentially would not recommend using it every day, maybe twice a week. Overall it's still a good product!

I discovered this by chance at Lush, and it revolutionized my shower experience. The Buffy Bar feels so great on your skin. It's great for dry skin (especially in the winter) as it removes excess dryness, and leaves your body moisturized for DAYS afterwards. Too add to the benefits, it also feels AMAZING as you scrub your body. I've since recommended it to a friend, and they also rave about it. My only wish is that it would last longer!
Tip: When using, don't forget to scrub your bottom! It feels unreal!

First off, I have extremely dry skin and exzema, so every winter my skin gets so dry that it starts to crack and burn, especially on my hips, legs and hands. I normally have to put on body lotion multiple times a day. I started using this product in December, right when my skin started getting really bad, and it is SO GREAT! It is abrasive enough to remove dry skin, but replenishes at the same time, without being too harsh. My mom says it reeks of roses, and while I admit it does have a strong smell, I really don't mind it too much. It also leaves some gritty pieces behind in your shower, so just make sure you rinse that away, and its really not a big deal. Overall, its a great product. I've had my Buffy bar for more than a month now, and its only halfway gone, so I'd say that's a pretty good use considering the price (when I first bought it, I thought it was really expensive, but never expected it to last this long).

I love this product. I have extremely dry skin and a lot of dry dead skin that constantly needs to be exfoliated but no product has ever helped me. This product helps me with both issues: super moisturizing (i don't even need to put on lotion after i use it in the shower) and is the perfet product to exfoliate my legs! I bought a large block of it, the small version is about the same size as a soap bar whereas the large block seems to be 2-3 times the size... the problem is that it's quite expensive (about $22). I've used the product 3 times so far and have noticed that it has shrunk quite a bit but i'm sure it'll still last me throughout the month or so...

Its great for the fall/winter skin dryness and reduces the look of cellulite, but the smell is weird and strong. Still, skin is baby soft and my butt looks good :D
I'm going to try a different one next time, since the scent is bothering me so much.

I love this body butter! It smells amazing and it's lovely on your skin! It might be a little rough if you just use the bar, but if you rub the bar on your hand first and just use your hands, it's not as rough and you actually get more on. At first I felt like I need to put lots on because I'm used to lathering soaps but you don't need that much. It makes your skin feel clean and oh so soft!

So I found 'Lush' in an online article and thought Id check it out. I came across the Buffy bar and it sounded good. I read the reviews and some were pretty good(especially for the girl with the chicken skin on her arms.)I have KP so I thought it may be good for it. I went to the closest Lush store(Kelowna) and picked up the large bar. The first time I used it, the piece wasnt big enough and the water wasnt hot enough, so it didnt do much. I cut off a larger chunk and tried it out again. This time the water was hotter so it worked better. It's sort of abrasive, but it was nice on my skin and I could feel the butters softening my skin. Basically I was glad I found 'Lush' through that article and very happy I bought the Buffy! Will buy again!!

In the midst of dry Canadian winters, my legs completely fall apart. I don't have eczema, but they get itchy, flakey, and the smallest things irritate them and give me red rashes. Forget about shaving in the winter without some serious pain! Normal moisturizers did very little to help, just soothed a bit, and often would sting painfully when I applied them.



Then I tried buffy. I thought it was too rough at first, since my legs were already beat up and sensitive, but after using it every shower the change was amazing. No more redness, no more flakey skin, no more pain! I don't use normal moisturizer anymore, just buffy in the shower. Somehow applying this stuff before drying off keeps my legs from every getting completely dried out, it's brilliant. I honestly couldn't live without it.
