Angels on Bare Skin has a fantastic smell and gently exfoliants that leave your skin soft and smooth, even after just one use. The downfall to this product for me is that it doesn't leave my oily t-zone matte for the entire day. It did, however, reduce the redness of my acne. I would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive or normal skin.

Holy moly, it makes my skin have this scrumptious glow. Whenever I'm feeling dirty, greasy or need a pick me up I slather my face in this stuff and I come out feeling fresh, glowy and happy! BUY IT, LOVE IT, USE IT, SHARE IT!

I make a paste out of about a pinch of the product and rub around my face thoroughly.
The price is quite high, so I might not buy it as often.
It smells SO good, and it's good for all skin types.

This is great! It' s not drying or irritating and it is very gentle. It exfoliates very lightly so as not to irritate sensitive facial skin. These are all very important things if you have sensitive crocodile skin like me. My only complaint is that my skin just doesn't feel clean, there's a residue left after. HOWEVER if this is the only down side im going to keep using it. Best facial cleanser I have been able to find in a very long time.

I am a huge fan of this cleanser. I have had problems with face cleansers in the past feeling like they were stripping the moisture from my skin, especially in our dry climate. I use this every day in the shower, and every during the winter it never dries out my skin. I love that I only have to use a tiny amount, and after scrubbing my face I also use it on my hands as an exfoliant. I do have to use a moisturizer after washing my face, as with any cleanser, but my face doesn't feel raw after cleasing like other scrubs can leave it.

My husband recently tried it, and has switched to Angels on Bareskin from the cleanser he used to use. He loves the fresh clean smell.

I bought this stuff to try after Let the good times roll went away in hopes to find something that could match that facial cleanser. It works great, it leaves my skin soft and clean but it just doesn't smell that great and leaves a huge mess in my tub due to the lavender.

As a total LUSH junkie, I normally do my research and read about the products online before I go into the stores to buy them. I had been searching for the perfect facial cleanser for my sensitive, combination skin (nose/forehead area was dry, while I kept breaking out on my chin) - I had been using the expensive, department store brands that beat my skin into submission at first, but were no longer working for me. I tried the Fresh Farmacy soap first, and I liked it - but it wasn't exfoliating.

So on a whim, I picked up some Angels on Bare Skin. Best impulse ever. This product is EXACTLY what I had been searching for - it's gentle enough that I can use it every day on my sensitive skin without drying it out, but it still gives me the exfoliation I was looking for.

I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks now, and I'm not sure if it's specifically this product I have to thank for it, but my break outs are GONE. I don't even get the dreaded "time of the month" breakouts.

I think part of this is also due to switching my face powder to Emotional Brilliance, but regardless, I highly recommend this cleanser. I will definitely be buying this again (and again).

I love this cleanser. It may seem expensive but a little goes a long way! I love how gentle of an exfoliator it is and when I rinse it off it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry. It also seems to make my skin less oily throughout the day and it feels so soft and smooth. I use Vanishing Cream and Tea Tree Toner with the product and my face feels wonderful. The only downside is that you can't wash your eye makeup off with it. That should be done separately. But it's a price I'm willing to pay for this product!

This product was a super hero for my skin!! I started using angels on bare skin at the beginning of the year for an easy to bring camping face wash that would brighten my dull skin tone. One of the lovely lush employees recommended it to me and I am super glad she did. This face wash made my combination skin constantly glow, it was the farthest thing from oily or dry when I used it. It also cleared my acne pretty well except for the few hormonal spots that would appear here and there. I am so happy I found this product and in fact I just ran out so I'll be rushing out to buy more tonight. Thank you lush!!! :)

Angels is a great cleanser for people who want a nice wash with a little exfoliation and plenty of moisture. It has just enough grit for a soft scrub, and the lavender and rose oils not only give it a lovely, really relaxing scent, but make it very soothing for your skin.
My only complaints come down to individual preference, such as I personally like more intense exfoliation, so I didn't quite feel like Angels was getting the job done. Some people may also find the clay base a little messy, but it didn't ruin the product for me.
All in all, this is a cleanser for people who like it on the gentler side, and it works well for everyday use or if your skin needs a little softness.

I recently recieved a sample of this product at Lush and will definately be back to purchase it! After first using the product my skin was instantly calmed, redness diminished and blemishes seemed to vanish in appearance. The more I use it the better my skin feels gently exfoliates my sensitive skin and leaving it feeling fresh and soft. And the smell is amazing I love the chamomile and lavendar combination. It removed my make-up just fine with using a dampened cloth to wipe the product off after cleansing. I did find the product a little messy and difficult to apply. I mix a pea sized amount in water to make a paste in my palm and then apply.

I am so impressed with this cleanser. I've only used it for a couple of days and I can already tell you that I love the feel of it.

It makes my face feel clean, even 8 - 10 hours after using it.

It isn't heavy, it feels amazing. I can definitely see me getting a in routine just feel this good.

I have always had dry skin and have tried many different cleansers; they always start out the same, effective and then eventually lose their effectiveness over time.

It has been 6 months of using Angels on Bare Skin and my skin has not gotten tired of it. I love it, it's gentle, smells great, gets rid of the dry patches on my skin during the winter months and leaves it clean. Another challenging aspect of my skin is its tendency to dry out and flake. While this cleanser hasn't completely gotten rid of that for me, it has definitely controlled it a lot better and makes it go away faster. I usually follow up with Eau Roma Water and some heavier cream at night.

I love lush, and hope they never discontinue this product ever!

This is a new purchase & while I've only been using this for about a week, I love it. It cleans my face without drying it and I think it will be great when the weather gets colder and my face gets drier. The scent is amazing but it is a bit messy to use. I bought it in store & the container it came in is a cheap, plastic container (similar to something I'd buy olives in). I hate the packaging because I'm afraid this will dry out - would prefer something more air-tight & nice enough that I don't have to hide it away in a drawer. This was also quite expensive so I hope it lasts a while.

This is the best cleanser I've ever used. It leaves my skin feeling fresh, clean, and balanced after use. I love how it gently exfoliates my skin while cleansing. It is great for the summertime when my skin is combination/sensitive. However, it became too harsh for my dry, cracking winter skin.
I highly recommend this product.

The most important thing is, THIS CLEARED MY ACNE! I've been struggling with keeping my face clear of blemishes for the past 2 years. I had a late start to the exposure of acne since i never experienced it during my teens. Therefore, since it was something new to me i was very eager to get rid of it. I've tried many different toners/cleansers/creams etc. to rid my blemishes but nothing was significantly effective until i tried Angels on Bare Skin. It took about a week of daily use to noticeably clear and maintain my skin. Id prefer it was easier to wash off as some pieces get stuck on my hairline during removal and that it was more of a smooth texture as its exfoliating factor has made my face pale over daily use. Other than that, this is my go-to cleanser to maintain a clear complexion

How I used the product
*I take a pea size amount, place it in my palm, add water, make a paste, and apply to my face. Then with my fingertips, I gently massage all over my face (less the eye area). I follow up with Breath of Fresh Air or Eau de Roma toner and then Vanishing Cream or Enzymion.

Things that are great about it:
*The smell! The lavendar is so calming and it feels great because it's soft exfoliation. My skin also does not feel dried out after I use it.

Things that aren't so great about it...
It broke me out in my tzone. More specifically, the jawline and forehead. Not a severe breakout, but small bumps. I had to do some detective work by eliminating products one by one and figured out it was this cleanser.

One might say that this product is not right for my skin type, but I'm actually using a normal-to-dry, sensitive skin cream cleanser from another brand without problems. My skin is very acne-prone, sensitive, and on the greasier side.

I would probably recommend this to someone with drier skin and who is not acne prone.

So incredibly effective! Drugstore and high end cleansers left my skin feeling clean but stripped. AOBS leaves my skin feeling clean and silky. It's completely balanced my skin. I use it in the morning and I have no problems with oil build-up throughout the day. Use just a smidge, as they say - when I use a bit too much I find the clay the slightest bit drying. They key is to add water to mix it into a soft paste in your palm, and not to scrub your face, just rub in gentle circles.

I was finding that I couldn't get through my stash before it's expiration date (hence the temptation to use too much) but you can ask the wonderful staff to pack you a smaller piece, which is easier on the wallet, too!

I love everything about this product, from the smell to the texture to the fact that it's vegan, but most of all I love the effect it has on my skin!

I first take off my (waterproof) mascara with an oil-based make up remover, then wet my face with warm water to make the cleansing process more easy. Then I get to work with Angels on Bare Skin. I love love love the texture, consistency, smell, feeling, absolutely everything. I make sure not to rub/scrub the almonds in too hard into my face, seeing as how my skin is sensitive, but I do smooth it in for quite a while. I wash it off, which does take a little longer than I would like, mainly because I am so incredibly lazy, and follow with Breath of Fresh Air toner (I just have a sample of it) and Cosmetic Lad moisturizer. These products have made my face/skin nearly perfect. I have only been using this combination for about 2 weeks, and yet the results are so so amazing. I used to have dry and very tight skin, which by the end of the day would become oily in some parts, and sometimes begin to peel in others. All of that is gone now. I have smooth and oil-free skin, no dry bits and no oily bits. My occasional acne is still here, do to hormones I believe, but it is healing much faster than usual and is far less visible. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone, I don't care what skin type you have, this WILL even it out.

This stuff is absolutely amazing! The smell to me is not so great though but the effects this cleanser does to my face is wonderful!

I suffer from bad acne and have tried just about everything! After a week of using this product I noticed a lot of changes. Redness went down quite a bit, acne was somewhat clear, and the softness of my skin! It was heavenly!!
